Giveaway goodness!

So while browsing through the blog reader, I found this awesome linky party!! Since I'm already doing a small giveaway I thought I might as well combine them.

Having helped with the Sailor Mouth Swap via Flickr, I'll stitch up something with your favorite naughty word. It will be a complete surprise but I'm sure you'll snicker. Since not everyone has potty mouth, I'll be glad to make something with a rated G word too.

But wait! There's more! If more than 30 comments I'll even throw in a charm pack of Little Apples.

Leave a comment telling me your most interesting Christmas gift experience. Think Ralphie and his pink bunny suit. If you follow me on my blogging adventure, you get another entry.

Entries will be open until December 22nd. If you're a no reply blogger leave me an email address.

Go check out the other awesome goodies too!

  4. That's easy! Couple of years ago I went to our Sunday School party (alone since hubby was at work). We played dirty santa and the gift I ended up with was ......the game Twister and a bottle of cooking oil... oh yes lifes most embarassing moment. Only to be topped off when arriving at Sunday School the next morning and everyone asking my husband if we had put the gift to use that morning............

  5. hmmmm... i don't know that i have any particularly interesting christmas gift stories. growing up, my sister and i often got matching outfits from my grams on my dad's side (along with the other 4 pairs of grandchildren). now, i laugh when i scroll through old pictures and see us dressed up, fake smiling, trying to act thankful, at our matching sweater/leg warmer sets. or our matching puffy sweatsuits. or snowsuits. with moon boots. and so on.

  7. Most interestjng gift exchange: i had made a quilt with formula 1 race cars on for my little nephew... Worked on it for months because I had been ignorant of "the quilting rules" concerning using same block size when piecing.( just started quilting). It turned out beautiful in the end, but it almost drove me mad. When the time came to hand the quilt over to Santa, a blizzard swept the land and turned everything white. Santa had already put the quilt under the Christmas Tree at my parents house. The blizzard finally turned into a nightmare when the drainpipes of my appartment building clogged up and melting water came dripping down my windows, right onto my nice wooden floor. About half a gallon per hour, for 24 hours straight! The quilt was unwrapped without me being present, as I was on " dripping duty". Little nepbew was really happy with his race car quilt, but I could only listen to his "thank you, Santa" over the phone.

  8. The most interesting Christmas gift experience is the fact that my older son remembers the pleasure I get in giving him unique gag gifts each year since he was a youngster. This year I gave him a camelback since he is into running. He finds it amusing that I do this. Last year he was into making off the wall things so I gave him a meat tenderizer. The list goes on. Thank you for the c
